Name:Atticus Collin Jude
Nicknames: Please, just call him Atticus.
Date of birth/age: September 19th // Twenty four
Gender: Male
Sexuality: Heterosexual
Job: Atticus is the proud owner of a food truck, serving mainly varieties of Tacos. The name of his truck is "RGT.' Ridiculously. Good. Tacos.
Human or shifter: Human
Appearance:
PB is Gerard Way
Atticus likes black, to put it simple. He won't be caught dead wearing bright, flamboyant clothes. Sure, Florida was insanely hot at times, but he decided he would rather suffer than wear something that goes against his style.
He's very fond of wearing a plain, white tee shirt with a black leather jacket on top. The whole "James Dean" look. He's a regular smoker, so if you see him, he'll most likely have a cigarette hanging from his lip. One of the only times he doesn't smoke is when he is in his food truck, his baby.
The man regularly sports the "just got out of bed" look, mostly because he did. He doesn't like to spend too much time working on his hair or clothes. He knows what makes him look good and spending a hour on his looks was just a waste of time.
Personality: Atticus isn't a very warm person at all, unless you catch him in his truck. It's almost like a whole change of personality. He loves to serve his loyal customers, plus the money doesn't hurt either. Though, if you catch him out the truck he'd most likely pass you by without even so much as a "hello." What he lacks in personality he makes up for in passion...though it's what he's passionate about that causes the trouble.
Atticus is an avid anti-shifter. He can't stand the freaks. It goes to the extent that if he find out one of his customers is a shifter he will cease to serve them. Sure, it causes a small loss in business, but he had enough loyal humans that he didn't care. He's gone to countless anti-shifter meetings and soon plans to start a group himself.
Strengths:
~Passion. He's passionate about two things in his life, food and getting all shifters registered and accounted for.
~Freedom. With being his own boss he gets to decide all his own hours and doesn't have to report to "the man."
~Memory. His memory is outstanding, he remembers many of his customers and most of them by name. It helps him be much more personal with his clientele.
~Networking. After opening up his business he had to become a pro at networking to get more customers. RGT's facebook and twitter are always popping with activity.
~Cooking. It was a hobby that turned into a career. He had always loved to do it and when an opportunity opened up to own a food truck, he pounced.
Weaknesses:
~Smoker. He's a regular smoker, most of the time smoking more than a pack a day.
~Easily angered. He's got a short fuse and by short I mean non-existent. The smallest things set him off, from not having enough salsa in the truck to a known shifter freely walking down the street.
~Misunderstood. He only wants what's good for his humankind and if that means getting dangerous shifters off the street then so be it. Who's to say one of them isn't a dangerous beast that could claw your face off in an instant?
~Baking. It's just far too precise for him. He'd rather just throw some ingredients together and have it taste great than have to measure every little thing out.
History:
Atticus grew up much like everyone else. His childhood was just that of a suburban grown kid. His parents had sent him to a good school, he made good grades, and he had many friends. So what happened to him that turned him into such an angry person? Well to put it simply, Versi.
The epidemic had hit and it hit hard. Most of the people he had known were infected, of course, they all thought it was the flu. Atticus was one of the lucky ones that were immune to the disease. Then the side effects started happening, they shifted. Atticus couldn't believe his eyes as people he knew turned into wild animals. What kind of hell was he living in? His family were now freaks...but he was normal. A bitterness soon formed in his heart, causing him to become cold and distant to the people he once loved. He would have nothing to do with them. They were no longer family, they were freaks of nature.
Fast forward. After working years in the restaurant business, Atticus was offered the deal of a lifetime. He found a used food truck online for a crazy deal. Sure, it was used, but that wouldn't stop Atticus, no, he was persistent in everything he did. Once he got something into his head he wouldn't stop until it was done. He pulled out most of his savings and purchased the truck. That was two years ago.
He's built up quite a fanbase throughout Miami, cause who doesn't love a good taco? Atticus was sure his crushed any competition. His flavors were wild and that's what his loyal customers loved about them.
While his love for food was great, his hatred of shifters was extreme. He couldn't stand them. They were just allowed to run wild and do whatever they wanted. How could anyone be ok with that?! They're living weapons. Sure, he knew all of them weren't dangerous but that didn't make it right. They were still freaks. Atticus wanted every shifter known and accounted for, and if they didn't want to comply to the rules then it was prison...or worse.
He'd been to countless ant-shifter meetings were he was known for his radical idea to get rid of the threat to humanity. If it was up to him, well, the word genocide came to his mind. He wanted them gone one way or another.
