Hank sighed a little chinchilla sigh and felt Elinore pat him through her shirt.
He'd had a bad day.
A horrible day.
Hence the fact that he was currently the size of a fuzzy baseball.
And hiding in Elinore's cleavage.
"There there Hank, it'll be okay. Do you want a raisin?"
He shook his head. Raisins wouldn't make this better.
"Superhero movie?"
Another head shake.
Hero movies wouldn't make this better either.
"I really am sure he didn't mean to laugh like that. Come on, we'll play a board game."
He was lifted from his warm hiding spot to find she'd laid out one of his favorite games. And a bowl of raisins.
It'd certainly make getting laughed at by their neighbor a bit better...
So he trundled over to pick out his playing piece.
