She ignored them for the moment.

After all, she had a long memory and if there had been a degree offered in holding grudges she'd have it several times over.

For now...

"I assume you've been lucky enough to avoid the general idiocy of humanity then. Though I'm not sure how. Perhaps by hiding in a cave?"

She noticed his teeth. Another shifter then, even if his smell hadn't told her.

"If by that you're referring to their birth then I must agree. Two shining examples of why birth control should be more readily available."

Her tone was it's usual flatness, although there had been the faintest flicker of a smile, as one of her hands lazily dug into the wood. Her viciously sharp nails bit in easily.

"You're from England. Where?"

Not a hint of curiosity, simply information gathering.

She doesn't have any real use for it, but you never knew... besides, it was easy enough to discard such things if you didn't need them.

She spared a glare for the pair and finally added, looking first at Yume, "You come across as an ignortant twit who should go crawling home to her parents to grow a brain. And as you might have heard him protest, he's far from a child. And in case you didn't notice, I honestly don't care about your opinion."

Then to Kaiser... "Yes, and I didn't ask you anything beyond a single question. I hardly sent you an engraved invitation to fill my ears with your prattle. As for manners, why should I care about something so worthless? Polite social lies, nothing more."

She held back from kicking them again, but only just.

She hadn't won yet. And Odile never stopped until she'd won...

Perhaps Odile wouldn't stop, but she would have to go after Yume on foot first. Or perhaps wait until she had work, in which case simply holding an eagle eye on her would likely set her off plenty well.

Her hands... Stiffen on the drink at the mention of parents though. And with all comments before it she merely sits in silence, sipping the drink and keeping the weight off her uninjured leg. "It was just a small accident," she states in defense of the table, politely shaking her head. "Nothing more." Even so; just their luck the table has such an antagonistic woman there. There was no comment made on the words about herself- no comment made toward the words to Kaiser, save a light glance of warning to be certain a fight did not brew where it would inevitably fail entirely. The coffee was almost done... And once it was, the glass was placed back upon the table as she grabbed her small pastry in the napkin it came with.

"I apologize, but I must leave at the moment; I need to return to my studies." She stands; a light wobble visible with a scarecely hidden wince when a sharp pain shoots through her leg. "It was nice to meet you nonetheless," she added as she made her way to leave, careful to exit in the direction opposite Odile rather than toward. Yes... 'Nice'. It wasn't a lie- really! She was certain Kaiser was a kind boy, and this other man was likely to be at least somewhat pleasant (he seemed polite at least), and...

...Well, it was nice to know who Odile was, at any rate. But she couldn't sit here any more. Which was why, despite a slight limp as she attempted to ease the pain on that kicked shin, she headed toward the door. "Good-bye."

The boy stayed silent. There was nothing he could say to this girl to change her mind. She was ruthless with her words, each one cutting further than the one before. It was as if she had no conscience at all, she said whatever she wanted no matter if it hurt the other person or not. It was admirable to an extent, being able to say whatever you want and not caring about the consequences. Kaiser could never do that, he cared too much about what the other person thought of him. All in all, he just wanted to be liked by everyone though he knew he wouldn't be. There were always those people who come in your life and rain all over your parade.

He focused back into the conversation. Yuume was leaving! No, she couldn't leave him with this girl. She would eat him alive...literally. He had to make a decision on the fly. Should he stay here with the predator and the new person or should he just leave with Yuume and head back to his Aunt's house? It was an easy decision.

"I think it's about time I should leave as well." He said checking the watch on his wrist. Of course, he really had no specific time to be back but he had to get out of this danger zone. "Have a great day, please to make y'alls aquantinces." Kaiser said picking up his drink and snack and heading towards the door. With one look back to the girl he hoped he would never have to see her again. It was a big enough city right? What are the chances of them meeting again? Slim to none. The boy pushed open the door and started his trek back to his home. "Some people, I swear."
